Rain. It brings hope when I thought I'd nearly lost it all.

Am I the only person in this world who cares if their friends are feeling like crap, and feels obligated to do something about it? Who feels like I have a responsibility to be there for them, even if they say they secretly but not outrightly want help? Who thinks it's wrong to act like the only way for someone to realize what they're doing is wrong is to bring them inches from death, and hope they'll survive?

I hope not. Or what the hell has this world come to, that we care so little about one another?

As a master chef, chemical engineer, and employee of Pillsbury, you are devising a new devil's food cake mix. You would like to have some idea of how long to bake the thing and your only guideline is that you know the center of the cake must reach a temperature of at least 125 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. Of course, you realize that the physical properties of the cake will change with time as it goes from batter to fully baked. Being alone isn't so bad when you've been through it so many times before, and know generally how to deal with it.

But it's those nights when you just want to fall apart that make it so hard.

When you just want the person you miss the most to be there and hold you, and they'll tell you everything is going to be alright, and they won't leave you until they are sure that you'll be okay. Who you know really cares about you, because regardless of what's going on they'll just be there, to make you feel safe. Who makes you forget all the stresses of life, and gives you hope that things are going to turn out for the better.

And turning to the empty space lying next to you, that once was an imaginary friend but you're too old and mature for those, and well pretending someone's there just doesn't work anymore.

I drive myself crazy.

I may look happy, but I can bet you that if it's within an hour of me having been in my room alone for at least an hour, I was crying.

Heh... I've been looking through all my past journal entries, and some are funny, and some are just wow.

Like last year, my New Year's "wish" came true. ~_~

I was VERY IMMATURE freshman year. But I've also matured A LOT since then. Damn Adam for getting me addicted to Code Red... and I had way too much sugar flowing through me. I still love the snow just as much as I did when I first experienced it. =]

I always have issues trying to sort stuff out with guys. Cuz I'm afraid of the consequences, and that they'll just push me away... but I've been working on it. Need to be more aggressive.

And I also went through what's so far been the happiest time of my life.


And some things are just so hillarious I have to share them with you (especially I've you've forgotten +P).
